MINERAL MAKEUP BASICS Start with a prepped face like the canvas of a painting. Cleanse, Tone & Moisturize your skin 10 minutes before applying. A face that is too oily will not hold the makeup. If your face is too dry, then the makeup will cake. Be sure that your moisturizer is fully absorbed before you apply your minerals.
Use the right tools! Use professional cosmetic brushes for the best application. Using the correct brush simplifies & creates your ideal flawless face. You will be surprised what a difference the right brush can make. There are different brushes that will yield a different look or type of coverage. If you go for a lighter, airier brush, your skin might not need too much coverage. If you’re looking for deeper coverage, make sure you’re equipped with a tighter denser brush.
If you need to conceal & hide any skin issues, use our concealer first before applying the foundation. Start with a dot or very small amount & blend well.
If you are using loose minerals, shake a small amount of minerals onto the lid from your foundation sifter jar and swirl your foundation brush into the mineral makeup. Tap the handle of the brush gently to remove excess minerals. Now very lightly buff the brush in a circular motion over your face starting with your cheeks to blend your mineral foundation into your skin. If you desire more coverage just repeat it. Swirl and tap again to reapply additional makeup coverage.
After applying your mineral makeup, apply our finishing powder to set your foundation.
